ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - The Texas Department of Transportation advised on Thursday morning that the northbound lane of US 287 in Armstrong County, southeast of Washburn near the intersection of FM 2373, was closed after a wreck.

The northbound lane was closed as of 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to the TxDOT Highway Conditions Map, amid the response to the wreck. The lane closure and related traffic delays are expected to last until around 10:30 a.m.

Drivers in the area should expect delays or detours, and should be cautious of first responders and emergency vehicles on or near the roadway.
