If you’re planning on being in central Perth tonight, be sure to plan for increased foot and road traffic with a breakout star playing a concert in the city.

American singer Teddy Swims will play at RAC Arena, bringing his genre-blending tunes taking in country, soul and pop.

Having risen to stardom with the release of hit single Lose Control in 2023, the musician is expected to attract a strong crowd, adding congestion to the area.

Main Roads WA says there will be increased congestion on Wellington and Milligan streets, with doors to the show opening at 7pm on Wednesday.

“Be alert, especially at the start and end of the show with extra foot traffic in the area,” it posted on X.

Those going to the concert are reminded that public transport to the arena is included in the ticket.
