PORTLAND, Ore. — A cyclist is dead after being hit by a car Wednesday evening.
At 6:21 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue and Portland police responded to the crash between a bicyclist and a car in the 11200 block of Northeast Glisan Street.
Around 6:25 p.m., though medical personnel arrived and provided emergency care, the bicyclist, who has not been named, was pronounced dead.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
During the investigation, Northeast Glisan Street is closed in both directions between Northeast 110th Avenue and Northeast 113th Avenue.
