MINNEAPOLIS — A carefully curated condo at the Hotel Ivy in downtown Minneapolis caused Gisela Castro Medina to let her guard down when she met Tony Lazzaro.

"Everything was gold. It just looked kind of regal. When you walk in, there's all these pictures of him with celebrities and politicians. I didn't get a bad vibe. At the time, I thought you don't just get to meet the president and be a horrible person, you know?" Castro Medina said in an exclusive interview with KARE 11 News.

The 23-year-old was released from federal prison in March after serving about 18 months of a 36-month sentence for conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and aiding and abetting sex trafficking.
