NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Clouds are moving in from the north and will likely hang around through tonight, especially north of I-10. That blanket of cloud cover will keep overnight lows from dropping too far, but it will still be chilly with upper 40s to low 50s.

By Thursday morning, skies should start to clear from west to east. Expect plenty of sunshine Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 60s and a much calmer feel overall. Thursday night looks cool and quiet — most spots will dip into the 40s, with coastal areas closer to 50 degrees. The cooler spots to the north may even flirt briefly with the upper 30s.
