COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two suspects were arrested following two recent robberies, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

On September 14, CSPD said officers responded to a robbery in the 3600 block of West Colorado Avenue, near Ridge Road, where police said they learned that two males had robbed an elderly woman.

Police said they learned that the men attempted to carjack the woman, but when they were unable to take her car, they robbed her of her personal items.

The next day, on September 15, police said they responded to another report of an armed carjacking in the 100 block of West Colorado Avenue. Officers said they learned that the two males, one armed with a handgun, had robbed an adult woman of her vehicle.
