Wednesday's girls volleyball highlights: Jackson, Marlington advance to OHSAA regional finals

DIVISION I, REGION 1

JACKSON 3, STRONGSVILLE 2 : The Polar Bears rallied from a set down twice and a two-point deficit in the fifth set to beat Strongsville 25-27, 25-16, 23-25, 25-11, 15-11 at Barberton High School. Jackson (20-5) advances to the Barberton regional final against Mentor (20-5) at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, for a berth in the state tournament.
