PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Portland Police are investigating after a woman was hit and killed by a car in Portland’s Gateway neighborhood on Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a reported crash on NE 102nd Ave between NE Pacific St and NE Halsey St just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

PPB says a woman died at the scene after being hit by a car. The driver is said to be cooperating with the investigation.

NE 102nd Ave is closed between NE Pacific St and NE Halsey St as crews continue working at the scene.
