ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - Rock Island High School hosted its annual career day, giving students the chance to meet with more than 100 professionals from across the Quad Cities Area on Wednesday.
The professionals shared insights about their careers and experiences, according to a media release. Students also heard about possible jobs in the area.
“Lets you know that you can have any job you want as long as you put your faith and effort in it, and it may take a long time for you to get there, but you can still do it,” one Rock Island High School student said.
Another student said hearing the professionals talk about their struggles was important.
