Security Forces on Tuesday apprehended an active woman cadre of the proscribed outfit Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) / People’s Liberation Army (PLA) from Langol Game Village Zone-I in Imphal West district.

The arrested individual has been identified as Ningthoujam Anita Devi, alias Rashida, aged 44, a resident of Sairemkhul Maning Leikai, Imphal West district, and presently staying at Langol Game Village Zone-I.

According to police sources, preliminary investigation revealed that Anita Devi was actively involved in recruiting a young girl from Jiribam district into the RPF/PLA. Security Forces recovered one mobile phone and an Aadhaar card from her possess
