A popular direct bus service linking Hamilton and Glasgow is again expanding with a new Sunday service and larger vehicles to meet demand. ‌

JMB Travel launched the X1 service travelling from Hillhouse, Earnock, Fairhill and Hamilton town centre direct into Glasgow in January – and have since carried more than 100,000 passengers on the increasingly busy route. ‌

Now they are expanding the timetable to run seven days per week, and introducing new double-decker and enlarged single-decker vehicles on the route to cater for the growing passenger numbers, as well as making permanent a reduced-price weekly ticket. ‌
