Prince William and Kate have secured a victory in the French courts after taking action against Paris Match over an "grossly intrusive article and long-lens paparazzi photographs".

The images, which appeared in the magazine, captured the couple alongside their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - during a family break in the Alps back in April.

The publication has now been directed to publicly acknowledge the privacy violation within its pages and cover William and Kate's French legal expenses.

Whilst damages were initially pursued, the Prince and Princess of Wales requested the court order a "judicial notice" publication instead.
