INDIANAPOLIS — Former Indiana University Indianapolis men's basketball coach Paul Corsaro this week filed a tort claim against the school following his firing earlier this year .
The Oct. 29 filing by Corsaro's legal team, addressed to Indiana University trustees, states it's regarding "Corsaro's claims against IU Indy for injuries sustained by Corsaro occurring on May 13, 2025, and which continue to date."
In May, the university announced Corsaro's firing after one season leading the program, saying in a statement, "his behavior did not meet the university’s values and standards regarding the treatment of student athletes."
