MUMBAI: A woman met with a tragic death after a massive rock fell from a hill onto her car. The incident took place in Tamhini Ghat in Pune. The deceased has been identified as Snehal Gujarati (49). Snehali was travelling from Pune to Mangaon in her Volkswagen Virtus when the boulder fell on the car. Snehal, who sustained serious injuries, died on the spot.

According to sources, the large rock broke through the car's sunroof before hitting her inside. Locals said that accidents are common in the Tamhini Ghat region as it is a mountain route.
