ASHLAND, Ore. — Ashland police confirmed that the Children’s Halloween Parade on Friday will be closely monitored and that additional resources will be deployed to address incidents.
The Halloween parade starts at 3:45 PM in front of the Ashland Public Library, before moving west along East Main Street toward the Plaza. Due to safety concerns, all vehicles will be towed out of the downtown corridor starting at 2:00 PM, as was the case for previous parades.
Areas from which vehicles will be towed will be well-marked early in the day, and East Main Street between Gresham Street and Water Street will be closed from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Lithia Way will be set up for two-way traffic heading downtown.
