The hottest club in Los Angeles appears packed with Toronto Blue Jays fans.
On Wednesday night, the Blue Jays headed back to Dodger Stadium for the third night in a row, for a pivotal Game 5 against the host Los Angeles Dodgers. And while it wasn’t exactly a cheap ticket to get in the door, the Blue Jays fans that made the trek sure seemed to get their money’s worth.
The Jays took a 2-0 lead off two solo homers by Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just three pitches into the game, and didn’t really look back from that point on.
Buoyed by a 12-strikeout effort from pitcher Trey Yesavage that set both a Jays franchise postseason single-game record AND the World Series rookie record, Toronto moved ahead 3-2 in the series with a 6-2 win on the evening.
