ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A heavy police presence was visible in north Abilene on Thursday morning as multiple agencies conducted an investigation.

This morning, on October 30, law enforcement officers were seen near the intersection of Grape Street and North 10th Street.

Our reporter from KTAB/KRBC observed units from the Abilene Police Department, including the SWAT team, utilizing their Bearcat vehicle alongside multiple agencies.

Authorities said they expect to release more information later today and plan to provide a more detailed update on Friday.
