AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead after a two-vehicle wreck Thursday morning in West Austin.

According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS), the collision happened sometime before 9:30 a.m. on 3009 Stratford Dr., not far from the Colorado River.

Responders said one of the vehicles involved in the crash rolled into a ravine , and the driver was pronounced dead on scene. Their name has not been made public at this time.

It's unclear what led up to the crash or exactly how many people were involved.
