SAN MARCOS, Texas — Since December 2021, KVUE Daybreak's Hannah Rucker has produced and hosted more than 170 Forever Families segments featuring children in Texas foster care.

On Wednesday night in San Marcos, Rucker was presented with an award at the "Be Inspired" gala held by the nonprofit Partnerships for Children and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The event was held at the Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Performance Center at UFCU Stadium.
