LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Lake George community and beyond are invited to sign up for an annual event that supports Special Olympics New York. The 18th Annual Lake George Polar Plunge is scheduled for Saturday, November 22.

Those who decide to take the plunge must raise $100 to participate. People who raise over the $100 minimum are eligible for other incentives, including a crossbody bag, camper mug, and more.

Anyone interested in participating in the 2025 polar plunge can sign up in advance online through the Lake George Central School District website. All of the funds raised directly benefit Special Olympics New York athletes, helping them participate in trainings, classes, and competitions free of charge.
