NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — New London police Thursday say a 17-year-old dirt bike rider remains hospitalized in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle last week.

The New London teen was immediately transported to a hospital following the crash, which happened about 7:33 p.m. on Oct. 24, in the area of Broad Street and Center Street.

Police are actively investigating the circumstances of the incident but say they've identified the driver of the vehicle. News 8 has chosen not to name them as no charges have been filed at this time.
