QUINCY (WGEM) - On Thursday, Adams County Coroner Scott Graham identified the driver of the truck who died in a crash at 14th and Jefferson on Wednesday.
Graham reported 72-year-old Mark J. Hamann, of Quincy, was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to Graham, preliminary information indicates a medical event took place just before the accident. He said that is likely the cause of the crash, but a final determination will be made at the end of the investigation.
Graham said Hamann was the only occupant of the truck.
Police said the crash involved a truck and Bethel Assembly of God church bus.
Police said the truck was traveling east on Jefferson when it struck a mirror of an oncoming vehicle. The truck went on to rear end the church bus causing the bus to hit a utility pole.
