COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County District Attorney's Office (ACDA) confirmed that 19-year-old Kemaury Everett pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter on Thursday before Judge William Little in a fatal crash case in Cohoes. The Albany man initially pleaded not guilty back in August.
As part of his new plea, Everett admitted that on the morning of August 18, he hit 93-year-old Charles Allendorph with his car near the intersection of Congress and Newark Streets in Cohoes. He further admitted to backing over his Allendorph's body before fleeing the scene.
Allendorph later died from his injuries at Albany Medical Center. Everett was taken into custody at his home by Cohoes Police on August 18.
