Grimsby Mayor Jeff Jordan and town chief administrative officer Sarah Kim are jetting off to Grimsby, U.K., in a bid to forge closer ties with the British city.
“The mayor and CAO will travel overseas to begin discussions with local officials, tour community and cultural sites and identify areas where our two communities can collaborate,” said town communications specialist Christina Davidson. “They will meet with civic leaders, tour key sites and explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as culture, education and tourism.”
Davidson said due to privacy and safety concerns, specific dates of the visit are not being provided.
