A five-star hotel on Loch Lomond is up for sale — with the deal expected to reach up to £100 million.
Cameron House has hosted some of the world’s most prominent figures since opening as a hotel in 1990, from Barack Obama to Cameron Diaz . The hotel occupies a fifteenth century Baronial estate visited by Sir Winston Churchill and Empress Eugenie of France
The hotel is one of the most prestigious in Scotland, with 208 bedrooms, 115 lodges and self-catering apartments. It is now to be sold by its owners, private equity firm KSL Capital Partners, which bought the hotel in 2015, according to specialist publication Green Street News.
It is reported the deal could reach £100 million. The hotel was devastated by fire in 2017, with guests Simon Midgley, 32, and his partner Richard Dyson,
