QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — Departures to John F. Kennedy International are currently grounded due to an aircraft emergency, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The ground stop was issued at 12:30 p.m. and is expected to last until 1:45 p.m.

Ground delays at JFK are currently averaging over three hours.
