LINCOLN, Neb. —
Matt Rhule expressed gratitude to Nebraska leadership, his family, Husker players and fans, and more when discussing his contract extension Thursday.
"I'm very, very, very grateful to Troy Dannen, to President (Jeffrey) Gold, to the board for their confidence in me and us, our staff," Rhule said. "Very grateful to my wife and kids who allow me to do this job and moved here. Very grateful to the fan base. Very grateful to the city of Lincoln, the state of Nebraska. This has become our home, and we love it here. And, most importantly, I'm grateful for our players."
