ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions were missing two players from Thursday’s practice. But they saw the return of pass rusher Al-Quadin Muhammad (hamstring) back on the field in the good news department.
All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph (knee) and running back Craig Reynolds (hamstring) were the two players missing from practice. Joseph missed the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers heading into the bye week. The Lions were hopeful the week of rest would let his lingering knee injury calm down. But Joseph has yet to return to practice after the off week.
“He’s working coaches’ hours because he’s here early in the morning getting treatment,“ Lions safeties coach Jim O’Neil said earlier this week. ”He’s in the meeting rooms after getting treatment. He’s doing everything. I know last week he spent
