Emmerdale fans admit they "can't wrap" their heads around the villagers lack of concern around Ray Walters hanging around.

Ever since Joe Absolom made his Emmerdale debut as Ray Walters this year, viewers have been trying to figure out what direction his storyline will go in.

Over the last few months, Ray has manipulated Dylan and April into completing drug runs for him by convincing them they have a huge debt - with interest - to pay off.

It was revealed that Celia Daniels was the big boss this whole time, and not only that, but she's also Ray's mum.

Speaking about his role, Joe said: "It's good to be evil. It's good to be a little big snidey. It's easier to be horrible that it is to be happy."
