Two men were arrested after a break in in the Rocky Lake cabin area in central Newfoundland.
RCMP from Grand Falls-Windsor and Bay D’Espoir who were called to investigate, noticed a vehicle speeding away from the scene on the Bay D’Espoir Highway.
Police attempted to stop the car, but it turned onto a dirt road and officers abandoned the chase.
Additional police officers arrived on the scene and while searching the area located the suspect car and blocked it in.
While attempting to flee, the car struck a marked police car and a marked K-9 unit vehicle.
Twenty-six-year-old Jordan Hodder and 29-year-old Tyson Tulk – who was wanted by police in Carmanville on unrelated charges, were arrested and charged with break and enter and intent to commit.
