SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) - A house fire in Sheboygan on Wednesday morning caused roughly $50,000 in estimated damages and left five people without a home.
According to the Sheboygan Fire Department, crews were called to the 1100 block of Pershing Avenue just before 11:30 a.m. on October 30 for reports of a house on fire.

As crews worked to put out the fire, a search of the home was conducted, where firefighters helped to rescue a dog.
The fire was brought under control within five minutes and crews remained at the scene for roughly an hour and a half.
