Residents across Waterloo Region should prepare for a damp and chilly Halloween this Friday, with rain and falling temperatures expected throughout the day.

The day is forecast to begin cloudy with showers and a morning temperature at around 5 C. Conditions should brighten slightly in the afternoon, with a mix of sun and clouds and a high near 9 C.

By the late afternoon and into the prime trick-or-treating hours, temperatures are expected to slide between 5 and 8 C, but will feel closer to 3 C. The temperature will continue to drop through the evening and make for a chilly Halloween night.
