AMBOY, Ill (WTVO) — A narcotics investigation led by the Lee County Sheriff's Office ended with multiple arrests.

Charles T. Lovell, 52, was taken into custody on October 23rd by the Lee County Sheriff's office. Lovell was charged with a Class X felony for the delivery of over 15 grams of methamphetamine and a Class 2 felony for the delivery of over 5 grams of methamphetamine.

According to authorities, a Class X felony is the most serious classification of felony in Illinois. It's typically reserved for violent or drug-related offenses.

Lovell was previously arrested and charged with a Class 2 felony on July 31st for possession of a stolen vehicle, after a search warrant was conducted at his residence.

Lovell pleaded guilty on October 16th, and he was placed on 12 months of conditional
