SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. (WYMT) - A South Williamson man was arrested after he was accused of trying to resist being taken into custody.

It happened Wednesday when police were called to a building where a business used to be regarding a squatting complaint.

When deputies with the Pike Co. Sheriff’s Office and troopers with KSP Post 9 went inside the building, they entered an apartment.

After police went to the last room in the apartment, they said they heard foot steps, with an unidentified voice saying “run.”

After they left the building, they discovered Christian Stanley running out of the back door toward a flood wall.

Police commanded Stanley to stop but he did not listen. Deputies eventually took him to the ground and arrested him.
