Giovonni “Gio” Santiago was recently named Anti-Defamation League Ohio River Valley associate regional director.

A U.S. Air Force veteran and community leader, Santiago spent the last decade delivering keynotes and trainings at over 100 institutions and building cross-sector coalitions to advance equity and create safe, inclusive spaces, according to a news release. He also serves on nonprofit boards, and partners with national and regional organizations.

“Gio is a wonderful addition to the team,” regional director Kelly Fishman said in the release. “He brings a breadth of experience in the non-profit sector helping secure support for people of all backgrounds. He understands the need for empathy, allyship and dialogue to create safe spaces for the community to thrive.”
