INDIANAPOLIS — The UIndy football team is off to another strong start this season, winning six of their last seven games and sitting with a 7-1 record that has Greyhounds ranked 12th in the AFCA DII Coaches Poll.
"I like that we got energy every day, they like to practice and like to play," UIndy head coach Chris Keevers said. "We're on week 9 right now with the bye week and I like where we are. We play good football, we had one bad game where we lost a close one, but we've come out and played and I'm very happy with it.
"Midseason, we've really started to take stride — with some lopsided scores," UIndy quarterback Gavin Sukup said. "We had some good opponents early on that gave us trouble for sure but we've been on a roll since."
