CINCINNATI — The Indy Fuel went on the road to pick up their first win of the season Thursday night.
Brett Moravec and Jacob LeGuerrier scored for the Fuel in the second period as Indy held off the Cincinnati Cyclones, 2-1. Owen Flores made 25 saves to get the win.
After a scoreless first period that saw Cincinnati outshoot Indy 9-3, Moravec took a pass from LeGuerrier and snapped it past Cyclones goaltender Ken Appleby for a 1-0 lead at 9:23 of the second period.

A little more than three minutes later, LeGuerrier lifted a backhand past Appleby, with assists from Dustin Manz and Jordan Martin, to give Indy a 2-0 lead.
