Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients are expected not to receive their benefits on Nov. 1, leaving an expected 42 million Americans without food assistance , according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture .
Below is a list of food banks, pantries and other resources available in Central Florida for those needing additional assistance during the government shutdown.
For those interested in donating food or money, links are provided below. Volunteers are also needed in some areas.
