A woman beat a disabled child with a football boot and attacked his dad in a shocking frenzy in a Scots park.

Leticia Beri Babasasa, 34, became involved in an alleged altercation at a park in the Calders area of Edinburgh between the youngster, aged nine at the time, and one of her children on July 14, 2022.

The young victim, who is autistic and has learning disabilities, was playing football with friends when a disagreement with the woman's son reportedly turned physical.

Babasasa then arrived with her other son, and began repeatedly striking the defenceless youngster with a boot and her hand, which is said to have left him with bruises across his scalp, face, legs and body.
