COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-A cooler air mass is sliding through the region right now, bringing that refreshing hint of fall back into the air. As we head into Halloween, high pressure builds in, setting up a chilly start to the day. But don’t worry—the afternoon will warm up nicely under plenty of sunshine.
Looking ahead to Sunday, the next storm system we’ve been tracking will brush past the area as a front and low-pressure system dip farther south into the northern Gulf. That southern track will limit our chances for rain, though we could still see a brief, passing shower in a few spots.
After that, sunshine returns for the first full week of November with daytime highs right around normal for this time of year.
