The Fonthill library branch is turning the page with a new name and fundraising campaign to bring long-awaited updates that include enhancing accessibility and creating renewed spaces for reading, gathering and discovery.
The branch will be renamed Coyne Family Branch in recognition of Pelham residents Paul and Bernadette Coyne, whose gift helped launch the $2.5-million The Next Chapter campaign.
The announcement was made last week as Lincoln Pelham Public Library celebrated the installation of Fonthill’s new accessible shelving and officially launched the fundraising campaign to renovate the nearly 40-year-old town square building.
Chief executive officer and head librarian Julie Andrews said thanks to the generosity of early donors, the campaign has a revised fundraising goal of $1.7
