Parks Canada is looking for the public’s help in drafting a wildlife plan for Thousand Islands National Park.
The government organization is publishing a draft version of the 2025 Multi-Species Action Plan for Thousand Islands National Park, and is now in the public consultation portion of the process.

The Thousand Islands are part of a continentally significant wildlife corridor and an area of rich biodiversity.
According to Parks Canada, Thousand Islands National Park has some of the highest diversity of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates of any national park in Canada.
The Multi-Species Action Plan is aiming to conserve or recover 49 species that regularly occur in the national park.
