STEELE, N.D. (KFYR) - This season alone, the Kidder County Wolves have broken 17 school records — and 15 of those belong to two players: junior quarterback Grady Larson and senior wide receiver Preston Fischer.
For head coach Connor Hill, it’s been a special year watching his team’s success, especially the connection between his quarterback and receiver, a bond that is arguably the most important in football.
“It’s been awesome to have those two, both really good athletes,” Hill said. “Grady plays point guard for the basketball team and takes that role like he does in basketball on the football field, and Preston is just a great athlete. A lot of our pass plays are really short completions, and then it’s a lot of Preston just doing his thing.”
