EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A person was pulled from a flooded basement in Brooklyn as New York City was hit with a historic storm, according to the FDNY.
A call came in for a reported person trapped in a flooded basement at 564 Kingston Ave. in East Flatbush at 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, officials said.
An FDNY rescue dive team entered the basement, searched and removed one person from the flood, according to the FDNY.
The person was taken to a nearby hospital by FDNY EMS.
There was flooding all over New York City on Thursday due to the hard-hitting storm.
