DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Animal Rescue League of Iowa announced on Thursday that it's rescued over 160 animals in several large rescues in just under two weeks.
The ARL said it was first called to northwest Iowa to help authorities rescue 12 animals -- seven dogs and five cats -- from a property.
