BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — This seems to be “The Year of the Skeletons” in Brooklyn Heights, with homes all over the neighborhood covered with bone people sitting on stoops and climbing up the ironwork. (Could they be former residents trying to relive their glory days?)

While Garden Place in the south Heights is famous for its over-the-top decorations and trick-or-treat mob scene , households in the north Heights have ramped up their Halloween activity this year as well. Ranking second behind the skeleton displays are the cavalcades of pumpkins cascading down brownstone stoops.
