It looks like we've finally seen the departure of that persistent upper-level system that had been keeping us under a blanket of clouds and drizzle. As we transition into the latter half of the week and into the weekend, we're in for some changes that will lead to a good night tomorrow for trick-or-treaters.
Tonight, we're expecting a chilly evening with overnight lows dipping into the upper 30s and the potential for patchy frost in the valleys, especially in southeast Missouri. This cooler air is set to really take hold as we head into the weekend, with temperatures expected to be below normal. We're forecasting a noticeable swing in conditions for Saturday as another system approaches.
