Police on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory have arrested a man in connection with several reported incidents on the reserve, including a standoff Thursday afternoon.
Two other people also face charges in a reported robbery involving the man, police say.
Tyendinaga and Ontario Provincial Police converged on a home on Old Highway 2 near Huron Brant Drive. Police announced online they had a large presence in the area and further details would be released later.
A release issued around 6 p.m. stated police arrested one man who at first refused to surrender. Police obtained a warrant to enter the home and officers of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit then entered the building and arrested the man without incident, the release stated.
