BRICEVILLE, Tenn. — People in the Briceville and Rocky Top communities of Anderson County are facing a big problem. Wild hogs have started causing damage to properties across the area.
"What we have is a serious issue up here on the mountain, in this area, with wild hogs. They're destroying private property, as you can see they've basically destroyed the cemetery," says Tim Isbel, Anderson County Commissioner for District 4.
Over the past few weeks, people have seen damage from the hogs, particularly the Indian Bluff Missionary Baptist Church graveyard.
"They've just dug up the cemetery, I don't know what they're getting out of the ground but they've dug it up. Maybe we have to get someone to come in here and do some grade work in order to get it straightened back out," said Dennis Carr
