Strictly Come Dancing's La Voix has an unexpected connection to a jewellery heist, it has emerged.

The odd tale has resurfaced as the former RuPaul's Drag Race UK takes part in the BBC show . In 2009, drag queen La Voix , also known as Chris Dennis in her daily life, was working as a theatrical make-up artist when two men enlisted her services to age them significantly with make-up.

However, the star was under the impression that the transformation was for a music video, not a jewellery heist. La Voix spent four hours working her magic on the men - Aman Kassaye and Craig Calderwood. ‌
